Brad Sherman (D-Calif.), who began representing California’s District 32 in 1997, after a career as an attorney and internal revenue officer. Sherman shares his philosophy of service, the challenges of office, his humor, and why he thinks it’s all still worth it.
“You get to have an impact on the most important things in the world—small impact, but still, very important things. And you also get to have a big impact on small things,” he said.
