Morgan Wallen has finally addressed his arrest in Nashville earlier this month for reckless endangerment, after he allegedly threw a chair off of the roof of Chief’s, a six-story bar owned by fellow country artist Eric Church. Wallen, 30, was arrested on three counts of reckless endangerment for the two officers and was charged with disorderly conduct, with witnesses sharing that the country singer laughed after the incident, and had been drinking.

Wallen took to X to make his first public statement regarding the arrest on April 7, writing: “I didn’t feel right publicly checking in until I made amends with some folks. I’ve touched base with Nashville law enforcement, my family, and the good people at Chief’s. I’m not proud of my behavior, and I accept responsibility.”

Wallen continued, “I have the utmost respect for the officers working every day to keep us all safe. Regarding my tour, there will be no change. -MW”

Wallen is due in court on May 3rd, the same night he wraps a two-night stand at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium during his 2024 One Night at a Time Tour. Later this year, Wallen is set to open his own six-story multi-entertainment complex not far from Chief’s, called This Bar and Tennessee Kitchen, located in downtown Nashville’s iconic Lower Broadway district.
