The Cincinnati Bengals are heading to the Super Bowl for the first time since the 1988 season, after the Bengals defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 27-24 on Sunday. The Bengals came back from an 18-point deficit and rallied for the overtime win in the AFC Championship Game at Arrowhead Stadium.

Kansas City jumped out to an early 21-3 lead before the Bengals came back in the second half to tie the game. Joe Burrow (23-of-38 passing, 250 yards, two touchdowns, interception) made timely throws, and the Bengals totaled 359 yards of offense, led by Tee Higgins (six catches, 103 yards) in the passing game and Joe Mixon (21 carries, 88 yards) in the ground game. Samaje Perine and Ja’Marr Chase found the end zone for Cincinnati.

The Bengals will face the LA Rams at Super Bowl LVI, who defeated the 49ers in their NFC Championship Game on Sunday.  Super Bowl LVI will be held at the Rams’ SoFi Stadium on February 13.
