The Black Crowes are ushering in a busy year with the upcoming release of their new studio album, A Pound of Feathers, arriving March 13. Alongside the album news, the veteran blues-rock group has revealed plans for a major co-headlining run with Whiskey Myers.

Dubbed the Southern Hospitality Tour, the trek begins May 17 in Austin, Texas, and will travel to more than 40 cities across the U.S. Stops include Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on May 21, Charlotte’s Truliant Amphitheater on June 6, and Forest Hills Stadium in New York City on June 13. Additional cities on the schedule include Cincinnati, Denver, Detroit, Dallas and more before the tour wraps Aug. 20 in Mountain View, California. Special guest Southall, who recently dropped the single “Southwestern Son,” will open the shows.

Whiskey Myers shared their excitement on Instagram, writing, “This summer we’ll be on the road with @theblackcrowes and @southallofficial on The Southern Hospitality Tour. The Black Crowes were a big influence early on for us because they did it their own way. Needless to say this tour will be special and we can’t wait to see y’all out there.”

A highlight of the tour will take place Aug. 17 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, where The Black Crowes and Whiskey Myers will be joined by Tedeschi Trucks Band for a special three-act headlining bill — marking the first time all three groups have topped the iconic venue together.

Tickets go on presale Feb. 3 at 10 a.m. local time, with general sales opening Feb. 6 at 10 a.m. local time. Full tour details are available at TheBlackCrowes.com.

In conjunction with the announcement, The Black Crowes have also released a new track from A Pound of Feathers. The single, “It’s Like That,” is streaming now and is currently featured in ESPN on ABC’s NHL campaign.
