Top U.S. business leaders including Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg responded to Donald Trump’s second presidential election victory, with some saying he won decisively and fairly.
Zuckerberg, the Meta CEO, wrote on social media Wednesday offering his congratulations to Trump “on a decisive victory” on Tuesday, adding that the United States has “great opportunities ahead of us as a country. Looking forward to working with you and your administration.”
And Bezos, the founder of Amazon and owner of the Washington Post since 2013, had a similar message for the president-elect, writing that Trump is “our 45th and now 47th President,” who embarked on “an extraordinary political comeback and decisive victory.”…
