Multiple vehicles in the motorcade of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz crashed on Sept. 2.
The incident unfolded at 12:57 p.m. local as the motorcade was traveling in Milwaukee.
Walz, the vice president candidate and running mate to Democrat presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris, was not hurt.
One of the staffers riding in the motorcade’s press van was injured and was being treated by medics. Members of the press were thrown forward as the van slammed into the vehicle in front of them, and was struck by the vehicle behind them, press pool reporters said.
