Actively Care About Your Neighborhood: Sheriff Garry Mcfadden

Garry McFadden, Sheriff of Mecklenburg County, North Carolina calls on communities and elected officials to take a more active role in working with law enforcement. “We want our officials to come to us and walk through our facilities and to see what we are facing each and every day, and get a first hand view.”
In his conversation with NTD’s Kelly Wright, McFadden invites everyone to “actively care about what goes on in your neighborhood.” Speaking as a sheriff, he says, “allow us to help you understand that caring for each other is so important.”
